We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the EMEA Finance Team as Accountant III, based in Luxembourg and reporting to theEMEA Financial Reporting Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including financial statements and board reports, and support analysis and disclosures.
- Prepare quarterly and annual returns for various European regulators and other statutory bodies, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare the operating expense sections of monthly US & LuxGAAP management accounts and conduct thorough analytical reviews.
- Record and oversee operating expense entries and payments in the general ledger.
- Handle accounting for accruals and prepayments.
- Prepare detailed reconciliations and distribute the monthly reconciliation tracker.
- Play a crucial role in additional year-end close and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development of new internal and external financial reports, enhancing our reporting capabilities.
- Document processes and procedures to streamline and support the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Support Global and Financial initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with different departments and teams within the group structure.
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a first experience in a finance-based role (minimum 2-3 years). Alternatively, 4+ years’ experience in a relevant role.
- Focused individual, with strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
