Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM (occasional weekends)

Responsible for handling and managing all incoming leads (One Source, CVENT, walk-in, website, and phone calls) based upon designated market segments. Responsible for the daily production of new business in designated market segment (guestrooms and meeting space) through telemarketing calls, outside sales calls, site visits and networking. Weekly and monthly sales call reports and revenue goals assigned. Responsible for relationships with existing client base as well as new business development based off designated market segment. In addition, investigate and attend any/all industry-based tradeshows pertaining to designated market segments. Responsible in assisting coordinator during events for clientele when they are on property. Ability to work occasional evening and weekend coverage.

  • Mapping of assigned market segments in order to identify leads.
  • Research for potential leads by telemarketing by phone, making outbound calls, research using the internet and reader board services.
  • Handle all incoming leads within market segment, proper use of One Source/CVENT including on-site visits.
  • Assist Sales Team in achieving maximum production of departments sales goals by adhering to steps in yearly performance appraisals.
  • Submit weekly production and call report and be prepared to discuss all sales strategies and tactics being used on a daily/ weekly basis with DOSM and team.
  • Perform additional projects assigned, as needed, to meet sales goals.
  • Conduct off-site sales calls visiting existing clients and making cold calls for new business .
  • Investigate and attend trade shows and networking events.
  • Approve final billing on events and award appropriate Bonvoy points.
  • Assist conference coordinator with client events while on property.
  • Assist clients with guestroom portion of booked meetings.
  • Visit the comp set yearly to investigate comp set updates as well as their reader boards.
  • Work as a team to strategize new and updated sales plans.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM (occasional weekends)

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales or Communications

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, a high level of self-motivation. Willing to work as a team for maximum productivity.
  • Computer/database knowledge with experience in Word, and Excel.
  • Delphi and Property Management System (LightSpeed) knowledge a plus.

The hiring range for this position is $63,700-$79,700 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
