Key Responsibilities:
- Everyday Support: Provide technical and operational support to users of GIS software, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data to create insightful maps and comprehensive reports.
- Spatial Analysis & Modeling: Perform advanced spatial analysis and modeling using cutting-edge GIS software.
- Project Management: Lead and manage GIS projects, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Visual Representation: Create and update maps, charts, and other visual representations of spatial data.
- Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain step-by-step documentation for new procedures and products. Conduct training sessions to ensure team proficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dynamic team to brainstorm solutions and troubleshoot issues.
- Independent Work Ethic: Manage your workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
- Experience: At least five years of relevant experience within a GIS/Technical environment, especially in a production setting.
Skills and Expertise:
- GIS Proficiency: Expertise in ArcGIS software for mapping, spatial analysis, and database management.
- Technical Skills: Strong scripting skills (Python preferred) for automating GIS workflows.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team setting.
- Self-Directed: Ability to work independently and lead project teams as needed.
Additional Technical Knowledge (Preferred):
- Programming: C#, WPF, Python
- Database Management: SQL, ADO (Azure DevOps)
- Web Development: HTML/XML
- ESRI Tools: ESRI Portal, Dashboard, Web Maps
- Data Integration: Feature Manipulation Engine (FME Flow/FME Form)
- MS Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Teams

The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
