We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join the International Finance Team based in Maidenhead.
- Accurately process insurance accounting transactions, including incoming receipts for premiums and loss recoveries, as well as outgoing payments for claims and reinsurance
- Running pay cycles
- Maintaining and updating the vendor database
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Scanning documents to OnBase
- Processing journals
- Performing various monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Proven accounting experience (ideally within a multinational environment)
- Good working knowledge of both accounts receivable and account payable modules
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are consistently met
- A proactive and diligent approach to all tasks with a keen eye for detail
- Work collaboratively within the finance function and across the organization
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all levels
- Reliable and flexible, able to work as part of a team but also deliver on own objectives
- Proficient computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience of PeopleSoft Financials/Oracle and OnBase is an advantage
- Experience of working for an insurance company desirable but not essential
