The SVP, Global Market and Product Relations will drive market awareness and broker relationships for all business activity with a strong emphasis on FM Intellium. The role will oversee day-to-day market relations and company interactions at the executive and operations levels, support the development and drive the corporate strategies associated with market relations and FM Intellium ensuring a well-developed, actionable, and measurable plan for each. This role will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, support product development to be best received in the market and advance the overall position of FM and its suite of businesses and products throughout the global insurance and financial markets.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist product leaders in implementing and managing product and operational strategies in the market and with brokers.
- Coordinate with Research, Underwriting, Sales, and Operations to support business objectives.
- Drive market analysis and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Support risk assessment and loss prevention initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee project execution and monitor progress against key milestones.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Champion adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data security requirements.
- Prepare summaries of technical reports and presentations for senior leadership on broker and product data points.
- Develop and expand strategic relationships with brokers, reinsurers, and key market participants to strengthen market presence and brand visibility.
- Development and amend annual broker agreements.
- Lead initiatives to grow market share, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue across established and emerging markets.
- Ensure all client, broker, and market-facing activities comply with global and regional data protection and insurance regulations (e.g., GDPR, APAC, LATAM, EMEA standards).
- Champion innovation in market relations by leveraging digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance client and broker engagement.
